Datadocks' branding by Komi a creative studio based in Egypt brings attention to the unsung heroes of dock scheduling. Through nostalgic, realistic illustrations, it emphasizes the people behind the seamless flow of logistics.
Datadocks provides dock scheduling software that simplifies and optimizes logistics for warehouses and distribution hubs. With an increasing reliance on technology, the challenge was to avoid focusing solely on the software’s efficiency. Instead, Datadocks needed a brand that emphasized the importance of human interaction and collaboration in the logistics process, showing the people who make it all possible.
Komi crafted a visual identity featuring strong, impactful typography alongside nostalgic illustrations that highlight the unsung heroes of logistics. As Sharif, Komi’s creative director, described it, these illustrations “capture the people involved in day-to-day activities as heroes, presented in realism.” This new identity connects the technical and human elements of dock scheduling, transforming Datadocks into a brand that not only offers innovative solutions but also celebrates the people who drive the system forward.
